AANA Congress secures Senator Conroy as keynote speaker

AANA is pleased to announce that Senator Stephen Conroy, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy will give the keynote opening address at AANA’s Congress on 12 February in Sydney.

Marketers will play a key role in under-writing the Government’s national broadband network and this will be a valuable opportunity for industry leaders interact with the Minister responsible.

The Congress will deliver the year’s first economic forecast for the advertising, marketing and media sector, as many marketers plan their budgets and campaigns for the coming year. An afternoon panel of industry experts, including Commonwealth Bank Chief Economist Michael Blythe, will reveal how the economy and consumer spending are shaping up.

A unique feature of the event is the “working lunch” in which each table has its own topic including: ‘Monetizing social networks’, ‘Staying ahead of your number one rival’, ‘Environmental claims consumers can believe in’, ‘Business growth through futuristic thinking’ and ‘Transforming brands’.
