AANA CONGRESS: ‘WINDOW ON 2010’

Marketing executives returning from their summer vacations in 2010 will get an early opportunity to see how the New Year’s market is shaping up, as AANA presents its “Window on 2010” Advertising Marketing & Media Congress, Friday 12th February, Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf, Sydney.

The Congress of national advertisers will offer the year’s first economic forecast for the marketing sector along with consumer buying trends, and media developments.

“AANA has a record of putting together memorable and very successful conferences. We want to create a business window on 2010, giving companies a running start at what promises to be another challenging year,” said CEO Scott McClellan.

“We are calling this a Congress because, unlike typical commercial and industry events, everyone gets to participate; it won’t be just sitting and listening to the gurus. Each participant will have a chance to air their views on a business issue that is important to them, and the best ideas and insights will get presented to the whole room by the Head of Table after lunch. Table topics include: ‘how to monetize social networks’, ‘staying ahead of your #1 rival’, ‘environmental claims people can believe’ , ‘business growth through futuristic thinking’ and ‘transforming brands’.

An afternoon panel of industry experts will reveal how the economy, marketing, media industry and consumer spending are shaping up for the coming year.
