Phil Warner Lifetime Achievement Award

The AANA Warner Award celebrates lifetime achievement and outstanding service to the Australian advertising, marketing communications and media industry. The award is named after AANA’s inaugural president, Phil Warner, who was head of advertising at Berlei, underwear manufacturer, when he helped to found the AANA, and led the Association from 1928-29. The award was established in 2008 to acknowledge the outstanding work and contribution of a brilliant marketer to the advertising industry. |
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this Award, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- A significant contribution to the marketing communications industry over a substantial period
- A contribution that has “moved the marketing communications industry forward” in a substantive way
- Distinguished service to the marketing communications industry in a voluntary capacity ie outside their own business
- Raised the profile, credibility and ethics of the marketing communications industry
