What do you most like about what you do?
Launching unexpected and exciting campaigns from one of the countries largest and most recognised brands (albeit one that's been around for a few years). What do you think will be the major trends in the media industry over the next three years?
User generated content and social media - this isn't really new news but more companies are taking the plunge and learning from those that have ventured into the space before them! Also I think there will be a greater focus on creating advocacy rather than just broad awareness - giving consumers the chance to have a more intimate and engaged relationship with brands.
What are the most innovative media campaigns you've seen recently and why?
Andes beer Teletransporter campaign - would definitely come in handy on a night out! Not only a great idea but extremely useful and 'value adding' to the beer drinking consumer.Who inspires you and why?
Passionate and different people. (Apple - 'the crazy ones')
Wise people also intrigue & fascinate me.What do you do when you are not working?
Surf, surf & surf.I'm also constantly looking for new music and blogs across the web (not just marketing ones!).
What would you do if you didn't work in media?
I'd be a pilot (who travels with his surfboard)
